co-win vaccine covid-19 After vaccinating the frontline workers, the Indian government has started the next phase of Covid-19 vaccination. For now, senior citizens (above 60 years) and people aged 45 or older with comorbidities can register to get vaccinated. A user guide to help citizens register and book their appointment has been uploaded on the websites of the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the National Health Authority (NHA).
Here’s a guide you can follow to get the elderly of your house vaccinated. In the next phase, you can also use these steps for vaccine registration as well.
Citizens can go to http://www.cowin.gov.in to register themselves or via the Aarogya Setu app, which has CoWIN app integration. There is no CoWIN app on Play Store for registration as the app is for administrators only. The registrations opened at 9 AM on March 1 and will be open till 3 PM every day. The availability of slots nearby to get vaccinated is subject to availability.
1 ) In Aarogya Setu app, go to the CoWin tab, and tap on the Vaccination tab. Tap on Proceed.
2 ) Now, a registration page will appear where you will need to enter the photo ID type, number and your full name on it. You also need to enter the gender and age of the person. For example, you can use a Driving License, Aadhaar Card as photo ID proof.
3 ) If the person you are registering for is a senior citizen, click on the register button. If you are registering a person with comorbidities, you have to click on yes when it asks “Do you have any comorbidities (pre-existing medical conditions)”. People age between 45 years to 60 years will need to carry a medical certificate when they go for the appointment. Once registered, a confirmation message will be sent to the registered mobile number.
4 ) After the registration process, the system will display account details. One person can add four more people linked to the mobile number entered before. You can click on the ‘Add button’ and enter the details of other individuals to register for them as well.
How to register on CoWin portal, (Aarogya Setu app )
1 )There will be no “on-the-spot” registration in Delhi as of now. Citizens will register on COWIN Portal but administrative authorities will check data on COWIN app on their side.
2 )Citizens will register on COWIN portal and NOT app. All vaccination schedules will be managed by the hospital
3 )authorities using their access to the COWIN app alone, at least as of now.
4 )Covid vaccination process of phase 2 begins by 12 noon in Delhi on 1st March 2021.
5 )In all, 192 hospitals will be involved in the vaccination process in Delhi.
6 )Of these 192 hospitals, 136 are private and 56 are government hospitals.
7 )Vaccination jabs (injections/innoculation) will be given 6 days a week (9 am to 3 pm).

first :-After registration, an account will be created on COWIN for the person
The person can access (login) his/her account on COWIN using the mobile phone number used at the time of registration.
second :- Now add beneficiaries (four in all)
You can add others from your family after the basic registration on that number is done. After registering the message of confirmation will be receieved. After that you can click on Add More Button.
STEP 4The ID Card Number for each such beneficiary must be different.
All those registered on one mobile number will have nothing in common except the mobile number.
three :-The add/delete edit beneficiary option gets sealed after vaccination
. If one out of the four beneficiaries registered in an account is vaccinated, only three registrations are left, and so on. . Till the time of vaccination, all the records of registration and appointment can be edited/deleted by the person making the registration/appointment. Only when a person gets vaccinated, the record is locked and cannot be edited/deleted
four :-Select the ID card type and provide ID Card number. In case Aadhar is being used, consent will be obtained and recorded.
a) ID Card Type – one of the cards as prescribed in para 1.9.
b) ID card Number – As recorded in the ID Card selected.
c) Name – As recorded in the ID Card selected.
d) Year of Birth – As recorded in the ID Card selected.

How to book Appointment for vaccination india follow step
STEP 1 Clicks on “Schedule ” button for Booking Vaccination Appointment or Click “SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT”
System navigates to “ Book Appointment for Vaccination” page
Searches the Vaccination Centre of choice by State, District, Block and Pin Code from the dropdowns
A COVID-19 Vaccination Time Table (VTT) (for each Vaccination Center) will be published by the States/Districts, on COWIN.
STEP 2 Choose vaccination centre of your choice
On clicking “Search” button, system will display below the list of Vaccination centre as per Search Criteria
Center Name will be displayed at right panel of the page
Any beneficiary will be able to choose and book a slot for vaccination at the VCs declared in the VTT, anytime and anywhere, based on his\her preference and convenience.The beneficiary will select the Vaccination Center of his/her choice and the date where vacant slots are available. Subsequent to which, an Appointment Ticket will be generated.
STEP 3 On clicking any centre at the panel, the available slots (date and capacity) will be displayed
Once “Book” button is clicked, the “Appointment Confirmation” page is displayed
Vaccine type will not be disclosed at the time of appointment.
STEP 4 Click “Confirm” button after verifying the details for final confirmation on booking
Once confirmed, the confirmation page with “Appointment Successful” message will be displayed.
The beneficiary will be advised that he\she should carry – a) The Aadhar Card (if available); and b) The Photo ID Card of which the details have been provided by him; and c) Mobile phone through which he\she has registered.
